Activities

Grassland Safari Lodge is a hub of excitement and adventure! While guests are welcome to relax and enjoy the unique ambiance of the lodge, there’s always something new to explore. Our exclusive location allows us to offer activities that are either unique to Grassland or exceptionally different from those found elsewhere, ensuring an unforgettable experience. Our five main activities include a comprehensive San (Bushman) experience, morning and afternoon game drives, a distinctive predator protection project, rhino tracking, and horseback safaris that bring guests closer to wildlife. Please note that horseback riding is reserved for experienced riders, and bookings must be made in advance as helmets are not provided. Two activities per person per night stay are included in the Chalet rates only.

Chalets

We offer eight spacious and fully furnished chalets, complete with en-suite bathrooms, comfortable beds, ample closet space, and a dressing table for your convenience. Each chalet comes equipped with reliable hot water, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout your visit. With a total capacity of 16 guests, our chalets include a family suite and a variety of twin and double rooms to meet your specific needs.

In addition to our cozy chalets, our lodge features two stunning main buildings, which house both indoor and outdoor dining areas. Our accommodations include four permanent twin rooms, one permanent king room, and three flexible chalets that can be arranged as either twin or double rooms, providing a range of options to suit your preferences.
